J140/2166, a 1929 Murphy Convertible Sedan, was sold new to the founder of United Airlines, JJ Mitchell.  He must have traded it in several years later because it was refurbished by the factory and resold at the 1936 Chicago Auto Show (Ref 1).

The supercharger was added during a later restoration. It is not a factory supercharger -- it is fed by TWO carburetors!

According to the card next to the car, Mattel made a "Hot Wheels" model of J140 in the 1970's. An example sits on top of the cowl.
