 I
saw J448 last at the
Concours of the Eastern US in 2007. It is one of eight
Tourster bodies by Derham. Like many
Duesenbergs, the exhaust has been replaced with the 'showier'
external pipes. I do not know when the change was made. The car was
shown by Joseph Cassini III of East Orange, NJ, and it is an
excellent restoration that is still in excellent shape. The engine
compartment is quite clean and free of stains and rust.
